This fight was the coup de grace of Mr. Atlas' high level sabotage of Mr. Povetkin. That he withstood it and has come back how he has is impressive.

He sees Mr. Klitschko more frequently than a child sees ghosts in an M. Night Shyamalan film. The unfortunate side effect of much mental trauma cause by his tyranny.

Yes Atlas' idea of being a good friend is hes your trainer, ruins you completely then when you look bad in a fight he stabs you in the back.

Atlas did a good job with Michael Moorer. He did somehow pull off the miracle of beating Holyfield even while having a glass jaw.

True. Also goes to show how mediocre Evander was.

I picked Povetkin to win but I felt Huck nicked it. I think Povetkin is a better fighter now though and I'd pick him in a rematch.

    Had it to Huck

Povetkin was busier but being the heavy guy his punches did very little to Huck

Huck is one of the most under rated boxers in the game

I think he gives everyone at cw and most people at hw problems. Let's not forget he was only 210 pounds for the povetkin fight

Huck's got an iron chin. The only time he was stopped was vs Cunningham, and he finished the fight on his feet, and it was more so a combination of fatigue and dozens of unanswered shots

    Round 1: Huck 10-9

    Round 2: Povetkin 10-9

    Round 3: Povetkin 10-9

    Round 4: Huck 10-9

Round 5: 10-10 (No one did anything of note too close to count, could go either way)

    Round 6: Povetkin 10-9

Round 7: 10-10 (Huck only woke up at the end of the round to hurt Povetkin, Povetkin strong prior)

    Round 8: Povetkin 10-9

    Round 9: Huck 10-9

    Round 10: Povetkin 10-9

    Round 11: Povetkin 10-9

    Round 12: Huck 10-9

Really, a truly close fight. No robbery here. To the OP, you can give Povetkin all the close rounds and he'd win a clear decision (on your scorecard). On mine, if you give Huck all the close rounds, it's a draw. If you give Povetkin all the close rounds, he wins a close, clear decision.

This is my reasoning for round 7. Huck didn't land sh!t. Povetkin was dominating the round ONLY because Huck didn't land anything. Unless you count 4 big rabbit punches as effective punching, Huck landed nothing of note in the first 3/4 of the round. Well, maybe a big jab that Povetkin stepped into, but it doesn't overwrite all the busy-work Povetkin was doing.

It was only the punch that staggered Povetkin that was anything meaningful. From there on, he landed a series of rabbit punches that made Povetkin look to escape (making it look like he was about to touch canvas). He was literally punching downward onto Povetkin's head. Terrible round to score for Huck because they were all rabbit punches.

The ref was awful. Huck should've been deducted a point for all those rabbit punches in the 7th.

Huck all time dirty knocked in the back of the head of Povetkin. Therefore, after the attacks in the back of the head Povetkin looked tired. So, Povetkin many times bent over (to get away from the shots in the back of the head) and therefore also looked tired. With dirty Huck had to take a lot of points or disqualify him. Luis Pabon worked very badly! In very dirty fight Klitschko Povetkin judged as Luis Pabon! Smart people see the connection between Povetkin - Huck and Povetkin - Klitschko. This dirty connection name is Luis Pabon!
