Because I'm a very rational, logical and reasonable person and I can't stand when anyone becomes so caught up in any form of extremism, religious, political, and now even bizarrely enough sports.

The amount of people that write off someone having a valid excuse for why they lost on this site is staggering. Yet to most reasonable people, if someone said they were dehydrated or sick or injured etc. they'd say "oh that's makes perfect sense" because the real world and what happens in it can effect someone's performance. Just because we're fans of one guy and dislike another it doesn't mean common sense should be thrown out of the window.

I never understood why people treat boxing so different when compared to other sports. A win is a win. I don't get it.

Because EXCUSES! Only in Boxing. A guy breaks his knee in the Super Bowl, it's part of the game. An F1 car has a technical malfunction, it's part of the game. Someone gets hurt in the NBA playoffs, it's part of the game. In boxing, people sob sob, :|:| ... and this is supposed to be a combat sport :bart Boxing has the worst teen girl like fans in any sport.

    Understood and dually noted

What are your thoughts on the first Margo vs cotto fight then....cotto was adamant regarding the fact he'd like to avoid making excuses for the loss though going by your logic does he have a legitimate beef? If he had an excuse would it fit into your intro post? Just curious mr objectivity lol.

And that goes for the 2nd match against Margarito as well, Margarito had to jump through hoops trying to find a doctor to give him clearance for the fight due to his eye being clearly impaired. And Cotto directly targeted the eye to force a stoppage, so he went out of his way to exploit a pre-existing injury, because he still feared Margarito and took the punk way out in that fight.

I've seen the fight several times. He gets hit on the side of the head. Maybe it's because you don't know the difference between a rabbit punch and a regular punch. It was a perfectly legal shot. You post some of the most nonsensical ****.

No evidence whatsoever that Margarito cheated in that match, but if he did then yes Cotto has an excuse.
