Yes I have laced up gloves and no I don't make boxing gloves so your statement is correct. I don't know the composition of a boxing glove. I didn't work in a factory like you do. The glove is not in question in this argument. It's the tape and the gauze on the fist. You obviously have never laced up gloves.

The term loaded gloves does not refer to the glove itself moron.

I don't think I heard one person deny Martinez was limited however folks pre fight where shouting from the hills that Martinez would demolish cotto? Cottos pedigree gave him the fight the fact that Martinez's movement was compromised by bad knees was just icing on the cake....why couldn't Martinez connect effectively in the pocket against a smaller man? His lateral movement non existent however his up and down game should have been enough no? Margo did it in the first cotto bout I don't even think he looked to his left and right much less use any lateral movement lol!

Cotto should had never tried to outbox PAC....in spots during the first portion of the fight he had success however PAC was just to explosive and the only way to mitigate the damage you absorb for an explosive puncher is to get in their chest and ribs shut down their ability to fully extend.

Yeah I know, but that's for all the people wondering where Sergio's power went to, he was impotent in every way shape and form in that match.

Maybe Sergio should of hired you in his corner because according to him and his team they felt strong or at the very least capable of tearing up this little welter weight. I lean more more towards the idea that Martinez and his team assumed even a 75% version of Sergio could maintain enough strength to blast cotto out and where surprised by the power cotto brought with him. I find it hard to believe Sergio would get in the ring knowing he couldn't bear weight on his knees it just makes no sense and in all honesty if it's truly the case then they are idiots and more power to cotto for exposing the arrogant imbicles.

That's just ridiculous, I never let my like or dislike for a fighter cloud my recognition of their skill set and ability or lack there of...to make a comment like the above defeats all the progress you may have made. Come on I thought we where moving in the right direction and then you hit me with this lmao talk about laying it on thick smh!

Ok, so postponing was not an option? Was Sergio's contractually obligated to fight on that day even if he was crippled? Boxing contracts are immovable concrete objects that have no clauses pertaining fight date changing events right…..no sure where your going with this big guy.

Ok it looks like we have reached the threshold of enlightenment for this conversation because your completely ignoring the fact that Cotto completely belittled him and as a boxer sometimes is 10x harder to come back mentally and spiritually once you've been humbled by a "better boxer" yes as hard as it is to accept Cotto has a much better boxing foundation and like I mentioned before he'd likely beat a 100% Martinez as well.

I probably don't need to ask this since I have a good idea but I will anyway….where are you from brother.

Cotto belittled him because Sergio was a one legged fighter, if Sergio had full mobility Cotto would have never been able to land on him flush as he did in the first round. Sergio was very hard to land on clean regardless of what a lot of people seem to believe. Unless he didn't fear their power and then he'd willingly take their shots like Williams.

The same reason that Sergio picked on Cotto because he thought he'd be easy to beat, is also most likely the same reason Cotto took the fight against Martinez.

I think that Jorge Linares was ahead on points against De Marco but his face was the most gory mask of blood I've ever seen in a boxing match. Worse than Jorge Barrios vs Acelino Frietas or Paul Banke vs Daniel Zaragoza 2. That fight had to be stopped. It wasn't just the nose opening up, he had cuts over his eyes too and the doctor had been thinking of stopping the fight on account of those for several rounds before the nose started gushing and left them no choice.

Injuries impact athletes in different ways I doubt you know Sergio on a personal level so who's to say he left completely because of his injury. My wife who happens to be Argentinian knows all to well how stubborn those boys can be….some wait till amputation comes into play before calling it quits.

Ireland seems like a beautiful place and very accepting of all walks of life, well at least those with certain ***ual preferences lol

So traditionally speaking Sergio has a better grasp and a better boxing foundation when compared to Cotto :huh

    Your kidding right?

    I had the wrong socks
    I was blood drained
I had a hurt shoulder and forgot to fill out the form properly
    I had the wrong gloves
    Are these legitimate excuses?
