Now I have time to answer. Okay, read this with an open-mind as much as you can. I'll even provide sources to my claims. I'm not going to say anything that I've hypothesized. No theories. Only observations and facts.

Injuries affect people in different ways. Unless you have a full understand of a torn rotator cuff, I don't think you are in the position to say whether or not there was an indication of injury.

Two things were facts though that both of us can agree on:

    1) Pacquiao threw significantly less punches than ever before
    2) Pacquiao was not as aggressive as normal

You can contribute that to Mayweather, and you will- however, just because you say that both of these drastic changes in Pacquiao were caused by Mayweather doesn't mean it's true.

Torn rotator cuffs are very tricky injuries and can differ from person to person; however, in most instances they are debilitating injures- not inhibiting- but debilitating. Pacquiao's rotator cuff didn't stop him from throwing a right hook or power jab, but it hindered, weakened his ability to do it.

Both Freddie Roach and Justine Fortune recalled instances of Pacquiao complaining to them in the corner.

"When he came back to the corner, he said he was in a lot of pain," Roach told Los Angeles Times.

"So at that point, there wasn't a lot I could say other than to just go out there and do your best." [GMANews]

"After the 4th round, he came back to the corner, and since I was there, I heard say, 'My shoulder's done.'" [Secondsout]

"Manny, are you okay?" -Freddie Roach [Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight]

Keep in mind you were not present in the corner nor was I. Out of the entire fight, perhaps only 10% of Pacquiao in his corner was displayed on national television. We don't know what was said or done in the other 90%.

    Proof of injury:

    (Before fight)

    a) Philippine news outlets reporting of Pacquiao skipping sparring sessions, morning workouts, and even entire training days around 2 1/2-3 weeks before the fight. Pacquiao did no shadowboxing in public at this point of time. It was theorized it was because he was "hiding his speed." This all was around the time Pacquiao said he hurt his shoulder.

Sparring partner, Dashon Johnson, told media the injured shoulder was real, very messed up, and sparring partners were asked to go home and keep quiet about it.

    [During Fight]

    a) Pacquiao throws less punches than ever before
    b) Pacquiao is less aggressive than ever before
    c) Complaining in corner

    [After Fight]

    a) surgery
    b) sling
    c) absence from ring for 9 months
    d) rehabilitation for shoulder
    e) doctor explanation of rotator cuff injury

    Actually, 2009.

And you're right. Pacquiao said this after the fight before Bob Arum ever did. In a jet ski incident after the Oscar De La Hoya fight, Pacquiao tore his rotator cuff. He then rested it, and it healed. Two weeks before the Mayweather fight, he re-tore it in the same place, probably worse, and at this point in time, it was too late for it to heal.

That's the full story that you obviously missed or ignored.

Compubox is done by two men pressing buttons. I wouldn't use compubox as your source of evidence as it's been proven by very multiple people around the world who counted the punches in slow motion that the compubox was extremely off. Not surprising as both men were very defensive and very fast.

The only excuse Pacquiao has ever used (Pacquiao, not Arum or his team) was the blood drain in Morales 1 and his shoulder in Mayweather. Both of which did happen, so if he believes it hindered his performance than he would know. At least he's been consistent with his reasons.

His doctor disagrees. Also, it would most likely be malpractice for a hospital, let alone a renowned surgeon, to perform a "useless" surgery and then lie about it on national television. I don't think you realize the type of repercussions this would have on the hospital, the doctor, and Pacquiao. Also, I doubt Pacquiao's health insurance would cover a hundred thousands dollar "useless" multiple-hour injury, unless...they lied to their insurance company as well?

Pacquiao is also out for nine months. Arum said yesterday that Pacquiao wouldn't be back until next year. Pacquiao starts rehabilitation in LA soon.

Not saying you're wrong. Well, actually I am. Your theory is off the wall and based off conspiracy. It's ridiculous.

I can accept that (first para)

Please stop now…never lump me in with the (new cotto) bs all freddy has done was have him approach fights with the same sense of urgency he had earlier in his career. I'm not one for excuses however his approach vs trout was terrible again he attempted to outbox a boxer instead of hunting him like prey. He made feeble attempts at jabbing his way in when he should have tucked his chin and body shot his way into position. Name me fighters you admire and I can point out a fight in which they could have performed better by implementing a different strategy……you live and you learn its the natural progression of things. If you don't make mistakes as a fighter you never evolve into a great champ.

They're different, but pretty close, especially due to the fact the Martinez rarely got caught on the ropes because of his mobility. Something Floyd has a tendency to do way too frequently. Sergio would constantly shuffle just out of range and slip punches in close, and potshot to keep his opponents at bay in the middle of the ring.

Good example of how elusive Sergio could be if you watch one of his worst performances against Murray many shot that appeared to land on Martinez weren't watch it in slow motion.:deal

I respectfully disagree, you stating Cotto would have never caught Serigo with those left hooks clearly tells me you have completely ignored the fact when drops his hands to deliver a pop shot his right temple is completely vulnerable to a wide left hook especially one thrown from and angle where Cotto's and shoulders are positioned slightly inside the left part of his chest, he would never expect a left hook to be delivered from that angle.

I told you that Florida sun is messing you up, maybe its the fog from those huge monster trucks and the oversized confederate flags. :hi:

I don't live in that part of Florida, I'm from Southern Florida, the hood actually, the only white kid in my area in fact.:hi: Sergio was P4P for a reason, Trout beat the hell out of Cotto and he barely beat Clottey, you're overstating Cotto's skills a little bit. He's good no doubt but he would not have been able to compete with a healthy Maravilla.

Abuffy, he increased the use of his right after the supposed injury. Compubox may not. Be accurate on landed but they do better on thrown.

Less punches than ever before? Of course, its also the last time he lost a decision in a while. He fights tentative against guys that can counter.

Open your eyes. They are all injured. Floyd is injured, Manny is injured, Bradley, ward, etc etc.

That's what you don't seem to understand. Manny is getting 0 respect over his excuses from fellow boxers because it has happened to most of them. It's not as much questioning the injury, it is questioning the ***** and moan excuse after he clearly gets defeated in a match. It is a disgrace to the boxers who go out every day injured because it might be their last chance to get a sponsor, or to move one more step to a belt.

Thats what you don't get abuffy. Your can ccite your sources all day, but its just piles of icing on ****. You simply dksab. Drops mic

There's injured and then there's injured. You don't understand that though. I now fully regret writing that piece for you. You probably didn't even read it. You're a lost cause.

Of course I read it. Just because it takes you all day to write something I can't read it and smell its bulllahit in 2 seconds? You are clearly deluded. Like I said, quality over quantity.

    Like go to bed man.

The bold portion explains a whole lot….:yep

Sadly the fact that you need to point out you were the only white kid in the hood tells me how far things have come down in the sunshine state. Growing up in NYC color/ethnicity was the last thing people noticed about you we were a bit more shallow caring about how fresh your Nikes were and if you ditched the transit cop who caught you hoping the train.

Trout beating the hell out of Cotto is the overstatement here, he was clearly outboxed and never found a comfort zone in that fight.

His skills are solid and way above average his true issue is consistency and confidence in his abilities when you question yourself you lose. A prime Martinez struggled with a Willaims in spots a fighter for all his great attributes and abilities fought on the inside nullifying his greatest advantages. Williams was quite inaccurate and invested heavily on his volume punching, he connected and connected a lot on Martinez. Cotto at any stage in his career would have had plenty of opportunity to tag Sergio especially while he was on the attack vs a solid counter puncher in Cotto. Your going of on a limb here trying to plead your "untouchable Martinez" case.

    Here's another perfectly valid excuse.

Wladimir's girlfriend Hayden Panettiere had been suffering from postpartum depression, it was so bad she had to take a leave of absence from her show Nashville and check herself into a rehab facility, now imagine having to care for a child, while recovering from an injury, while the mother of your child and the love of your life is mentally suffering, while preparing to face the biggest opponent of your career, as you're beginning to feel as if your body is starting to fail you since you're getting older, all the while he's calling you a Satanist because you like doing magic card tricks. To say Wlad's head might not have fully been in it is an understatement.
