"Everyone in boxing wants to fight Floyd," the boxer's camp said. "It's the biggest payday they could possibly have."

Mayweather's team does not think that Golovkin has done enough in his career to merit a shot at the pound-for-pound king – and the enormous payday that comes with it.

"He has never fought a top opponent in his whole career," they said of Golovkin. "We're surprised you guys would even have him on your show, to be honest."

    - So, this comes as no surprise. We all knew that Floyd ain't no Roberto Duran.

    - It is just bull**** from TMT. All boxing fans would love to see Floyd enter as an underdog, take up a real challenge.

    - Nobody want to see Flody-Khan or Floyd - Brook. . Easy wins for Floyd.

  2. Duran moved up and got his ass beat by Barkley and others. Duran was Duran and Mayweather is Mayweather.

GGG is no James Toney. He won't budge from middleweight and move up to beat Heavyweights will he? No because he is a desperate old man. Adrien Broner has accomplished more Hell ain't Golovkin begging to fight the 25 year old Canelo? Canelo's record is impeccable compared to this euro-bum.

But Floyd can beat GGG EASILY.

Triple G will get drained, and wilk have less power to bring him down.

Floyd has most of the advantages that triple g has.

You do know that Duran beat Barkley and knocked him down? :patsch

Your logic is more than strange. GGG ain't claiming he is TBE. I would rather say Floyd is no James Toney. :deal

You mean the Floyd who moved up to 154, won a belt (nearly stopping Cotto), and in the process gave us one of the only exciting fights he's been involved in over the past decade?

    That Floyd?

The one GGG is willing to meet @ 154?

So you'd rather see him retire safely with is 0 than risk his ass and give the fans a potentially hugely exciting fight?

When did not wanting to fight a guy 2 divisions above who has brutal power become ducking? He's 38, has accomplished what he needed to accomplish. He's not gonna fight GGG and rightly so.

a welterweight ducking a middleweight, so stupid. When mayweather brought a guy up 2 weight divisions (marquez p4p2 at the time i believe) they say hes fighting a guy 2 small, but when floyd isn't willing to go up 2 weight divisions ya'l say he's duckin lol.

Golovkin has never been below 158 and Floyds highest was 151.
Hes 38, why should and would he face someone who is literally two weight classes bigger?
154 wont mean **** if Floyd is 150 and Golovkin 170
