Good Job Dummy:good Pretty much agree on everything, but I thought his skills were a little better than you did pre Stiverne match.

 

I agree on the Povetkin point as well, now get ready for an all out barrage of hate.

 

I agree, I don't rate Charr very highly and the KO win didn't shock me in the least, Takam was outboxing Povetkin it was drawish at the time of the stoppage. And Perez is very overrated. Magomed wasn't that great skillwise therefore not hard to outbox, and I knew Bryant would outbox Perez and predicted so on here, and had I been posting at the time of the Takam fight I would have said that on here as well. Takam is the best win of the three.

Povetkin has great power but is somewhat limited, and for all the people who think Povetkin would perform better in a rematch with Wlad with a different ref, they are deluding themselves. The only thing that prolonged that match for Sasha was Wlad's incessant holding, which Povetkin with his limited plan of attack brought upon himself. Wlad would have KO'd him if the ref had of been harsher and penalized him for the excessive holding earlier.

 

A whole lot of room for improvement. He's a work in progress he needs a ton of fine tuning, and I'm not sure his hillbilly trainer (seems like a nice guy) is capable of the task, Wilder needs to move on and get some better guys in his corner to teach him at HW most opponents are dangerous, and to fight every match with the same discipline he fought Stiverne with. And how to adjust accordingly to different styles.

 

I said Povetkin had power. What is hard to understand about that. It was the power than won him the fights. But its not like Takam just succumbed after the first shot it took 10 rounds. It took him 7 to get Charr out of there, whoopty doo the Vitali match was stopped on a cut but Vitali also dropped him in the second and was beating the hell out of him, he probably wouldn't have made it to the 7th had it not been stopped. Perez was outboxed and lost the match against Jennings 7-5. Jennings also stunned Mike a few times, and he has limited power and that's exactly why I thought Perez would be KO'd by Povetkin.

Povetkin is an average/good boxer with great power.

On the Wlad-Povetkin comment, Povetkin came rushing in head down like a re****ed baby Frankenstein he had no plan whatsoever. Wlad repeated the same move over and over because Povetkin did the same thing over and over. He dropped Povetkin with friggin jabs 4 times, if he really sat down on his punches he would have gotten him out of there. As far as the KO Wlad's chin is most likely as good as Charr's and it would have taken a hell of a lot more than one clean shot from Alexander to put him down.
