I bring this up because I've noticed some have scored Ali vs Frazier for Ali. More than i would have thought.

Walcott vs louis 1 seems to be debated. Are there any fights that historically seem obvious but atvthe time there were arguments about the scoring? I'm specifically looking for more high-profile fights

I had Josesito Lopez beating Jese Vargas, not sure how everyone else felt about this one, maybe not a robbery. Lara got robbed vs Williams and Abril definitely beat Rios. A couple of modern day dubious decisions for you.

Sadly us Brits had our moments.

Sugar Boy Malinga was robbed of a victory in his first encounter with Nigel Benn. And even in fight two, one of the judges managed to fiddle Benn ahead!

A young Santos Laciar came to the UK and showed his potential against a nearing his prime Charlie Magri. If the fight had been anywhere else I suspect the Argentine would have been scored the upset winner.

You guys gotta check out the bout between Dwight Qawi and Ossie Ocasio. It was unanimous for Ocasio with a title shot for the winner. Mysteriously, even though he had been largely inactive for some time, Ocasio was elevated to top contender or something like that just before this fight. Odds were totally stacked against Qawi. I think anyone who saw Ocasio rise in the ratings by not fighting knew something was up and that Qawi needed a KO to get a draw in this one. If you listen to Ferdie Pacheco on the youtube replay, he is aghast and had it 10-0 for Qawi. With less screaming, I scored it 6-3-1 for Qawi. Definite robbery.

Yes to the Lopez vs Vargas fight, I actually felt that Vargas should have about 3 losses on his record and I don't find him to a particularly good fighter

yes, that was a bad decision. prime Qawi would have knocked him out. Even though he "lost" Qawi still got a second fight with the Champion Holyfield later that year.

Herrera - Garcia should never be forgotten.

    Floyd - JLC1?

    Burns - Beltran?

    Hagler - Leonard?

Yes, nothing like the great forgotten fight between these two men.

I mean one that was probably the worst i've seen was Augustus vs. Burton. When the scores were announced you truthfully thought they were in favor of Augustus. I guess the fight didn't have a major impact in the grand scheme of things. Burton did go on to lose to Ebo Elder in a WBO NABO title match, which would have been huge for Augustus to been in because at that time there was a lot of clamoring for him to get a title shot. Burton went on to lose most of the rest of his matches in brutal fashion.

Zarate vs Pintor. I watched this one live and my jaw literally dropped to my chest I was so amazed at the decision.

Was on the undercard of Mayweather-Ortiz right. Only one of my mates stayed up with me, but we both agreed minus politics there was no way Lopez lost this fight. I might have to give it a re watch, but I was honestly flabbergasted.
