Floyd will either fight next year or Cotto will take the rematch. You tell me what is the better deal.. 1) Fighting Canelo and earning money? 2) The chance of taking Floyd's '0' and eating SERIOUS money?
Oscar de La hoya did it. And that is just it, Floyd won't take REAL challenges, he doesn't dare to be great. Yes, he's a great fighter who only fights people he has all the advantages over. Be it size, speed, IQ, experience and usually all of those except maybe size, which he will give up so long as he knows he can run away from an opponent and use his speed to score his pot shotting points. I give him some credit for fighting pac, but the style he did it was not impressive. Everyone expected it. A truly great fighter would have went out there and taken it to another level, not just get on his bike and try to rack up the points. A truly great fighter, takes on these kinds of challenges though and performs. Does something unexpected and makes you say WOW. Floyd doesn't do that at all. Imagine floyd taking a fight he was the 2-1 underdog! LOL
I'm a big Oscar fan and 147lb wasn't that bad for Oscar to make and was in fact his most successful weight class and where he fought best at. The problem was his addiction had already spun out of control which hindered his training I'm sure coupled with him being over the hill.
If PBF didn't dare to be great he could have spent his whole career at 130 or 135 never bother moving up to face bigger names and men. The very fact you say such ridiculous trash shows how you hold him to a higher standard. You even say he needs to take a fight to be a 2-1 underdog well in order for that to happen he would basically have to go to 168 and fight Andre Ward.:deal That's how great he is.
I doubt ggg would be a better favorite over floyd unless he absolutely destroys both Cotto and canelo I'm high on ggg but realistically floyd will probably find a way to win .#imstill****edaboutthepacfight
Floyd vs. GGG would be bad business. This woulnd't get good PPV views so I understand Floyd isn't interested.
its not called a duck if the guy calling you out is 2 weight divisions above you. Floyd gets a pass for this one, unless he keeps saying nonsense like "I would easily beat GGG", in which case he needs to get in the ring instead of talking ****.
Yeah it's not as safe as fighting someone from two divisions down(and still not making the agreed upon weight).
