    Ha, if he actually did reqeuest 10 oz gloves, by rule they would both have to wear 10 oz. gloves. I hope that's not the case.

    Why is it always the Yanks that whine and have to have stipulations galore?

    I hope Porter KO's that Yank hype-job and ends his career. Utter bum.

    Sidenote: I really cannot wait until the EE era is amongst us, and the top Yanks are retired. Watch how exciting the sport will be again!

    Not really. De La Hoya was forcing his opponents to wear certain gloves, as was Morales.

    In fact, when Mayweather/Cotto fought it was Cotto who refused 8 oz gloves so they wore 10 oz gloves.

    Jesus... can we please make Broner-Matthysse or Broner-Maidana II? Then Broner can get brutally KO'd and retired. This POS has no place in boxing.

    Kell has nothing to do with that. That is the commission and it is something they are trying to change for ALL fights in the UK. It is not a one-off in an attempt to give Kell an edge.

    You saying that 3 days before the fight De La Hoya was forcing opponets to wear certain gloves. Bull****. This might of been writen in the contract when the fight was signed.

    Not 3 days before the bout, ala Maidana, this has void **** written all over it..:deal:deal
