Ruiz didn't train for that. I'm talking about the version that beat Hanks. Tommy never even knocked out any realty good fighters. His power is overrated.

I don't think Seldon would beat him. At some point, Seldon gets caught. Both guys had stamina problems so it could get ugly if it goes into the late rounds. If Tommy starts fast he can get Seldon out of there before both gas out.

Ruddock? Williams? Both better victories, let alone stoppages than anyone Scott has on is resume, even if they were past their best.

I'm gonna assume you meant to refer to Ruiz and not Scott. The Ruddock win was a better stoppage than any Ruiz has but it was premature. Ruiz's stoppage of Hanks was better than Morrison's win over a totally shot Williams. And Ruiz hasn't failed against heavyweights who are the caliber of a spent and undertrained Ruddock; his career is still on the rise.

Glazkov is clearly a better win than Williams.

That's a fair point, although officially it isn't a win. Glazkov is still unproven though, let's talk in 2 years time. I still stand by my original statement that Morrison knocks Scott the **** out in brutal fashion though.

Morrison had good speed, world class power, and guts. He also was easy to hit, had a shaky chin, and stamina issues.

The very durable journeyman with heart could upset him, and they did not need to be great. Or the journeyman with good power could pull off an upset.

I don't think one can "accurately" come up with five mediocre fighters to beat tommy Morrison. The problem is he was strangely inconsistent. He could find a way to out box a still dangerous and competitive George Foreman then lose to a man like Michael Bentt in his next fight. Morrison wasn't great by any means. But he managed to make it through nearly 50 pro fights only losing on three occasions while taking on a fairly wide variety of different profiles. His record was largely padded of course but he was very active and even some of those mediocrities or has beens weren't as bad some think. Sure he'd drop some fights to some lesser foes. But again I can't make a list with any certainty.

Taking time off to talk about the other Morrsion, Trey Lippe who is 8-0 with 8 KO's.

I have been watching his fights and sparing sessions. He's advancing at a fast rate. Similar to his dad on offense, better so far fundamentally speaking on defense. If he was an amatuer I think he's represent the USA at super heavyweight in the 2016 games.

You could say I'm almost sold on him being a future top ten talent. He only needs to go past 6 rounds, but that's not happening anytime soon with his power and current match making.

You know what, Schutte is a pretty good live underdog to win. i can see him bullying Tommy around and draining that gas tank. It'd be more pressure than Purrity applied.
Maybe some other tough guys like a Ron Stander. Bonavena. Bugner maybe? Berbick? Maybe a Timo Hoffman/Ernie Terrell real big durable guy. Dino Dennis might trade and get hit, but he might catch Tommy also. Mavrovic would be another.

Like Magoo said, Tommy is going to lose fights. All it takes is facing top notch competition consistently and you can insert any name in there. He won't 5 in a row, kind of like lots of guys once they are not spoon fed the C grade fighters with a history of being stopped.
