According to Fat Dan, Smith weighed in at 184.4 - well over the agreed 181 limit. He's been fined an additional £15k on top of the first £45k. What a joke, him and Joe G have obviously strategically aimed to come in heavy.

Ward didn't have to weigh, fight is still on. Hopefully this fuels Ward's anger and he breaks Smith's face tonight.

Just seen that Eddie Hearn is defending Smith on Twitter telling Dan that it would have been dangerous if Smith cut water again after rehydrating from the first weigh in yesterday.

    Lmao

pretty idiotic to **** all that money away instead of just staying away from the lager for a few weeks. He deserves no pity and deserves the beating he will undoubtedly get.

This guy has gotten 3 gift paydays in a row. He got the 1st shot at abraham which he didnt deserve, he got the rematch which wasnt warranted and now he gets paid by ward to fight him in a warmup match.

Man even though he loses 3 out of 3 he still got paid nicely. But he just had to go and fk up the 3rd payday. LOL.

Poor from Smith that this happens, very unprofessional from Smith but I have absolutely no sympathy for Ward as he was the one that wanted all of the catch weight garbage in the first place.

Didn't deserve the first shot, quite rightly got the rematch and didn't deserve this shot but no one else would have taken it.

Absolutely shocking from Smith and hope he gets badly KO'd tonight, no less than he deserves.

Lost a clear decision against a **** AA, cried and *****ed to get a rematch where he was completely shut out, and was then given a fight most fighters could only dream about, and has utterly embarrassed himself and turned it into a farce.

Can't remember such a **** fighter having been given so many opportunities. Constantly talks the talks, disgraceful scouse *******

never thought smith was particularly good as a boxer, but thought he came across ok as a person and would make a decent commentator / pundit post retirement (as long as his family weren't fighting) after all this he's coming across as a ****. What's his trainer thinking? are his other fighters going to start going this every time their in a tough contest.

The catch weight was bogus in the first place. Ward wanted the advantage, Smith didn't give it to him and paid the price financially, however, the extra weight may increase his chances of victory from 1% to 2%.

Cooling off a bit it does seem to happen more than it should. fighters mving up in weight and then missing that higher target weight too. Likely they over estimate how much easier it would be to get down to the weight, and by the time they realise they have a problem to make the weight, it's already too late...

And no imo he didnt deserve a rematch, that was the best smith was ever going to perform against abraham and he still came up short. he lost that fight, no doubt about that. the only controversial thing was the judges scoring it so wide for abraham, but that by itself shouldnt warrant a rematch.

Even if the fight was at 168 there's no way Smith would have made it judging from this farce.

Dont want to see him in a boxing ring ever again after tonight.

Makes you wonder why he couldn't have just cut more weight earlier in the week as its obvious he would have been struggling to make the weight back then
