    nopw that thats finished, Lemiuex can defend against a Canadian and ten an Aussie, then maybe he and Truax can have a go.

    Another titlest to swerve ggg.

    But props ro Lemiuex for doing what he was supposed to do.

    I had it 115-110 at the RBR - official cards: 115-109, 115-109, 114-110

    This could actually go either way or end up a draw w/o the KD's. David Limeux's power is impressive. His skills, not so much.

    I hope he does for awhile Lemieux needs to take out a few more top guys at MW, which he's more than capable of, so the Lemieux-GGG match is far more significant.

    i feel like lemieux got careless and wild a lot. great power but it'll leave him open and vulnerable against a smart boxing mind like GGG who has ridiculous power too.

    i find david lemieux skills are just fine, and his inside game very well also, i think its his boxing/ring intelligence thats not so high up there, he lets his emotion and instinct get the better of him too often throughout the fight

    Good post. He actually has decent head movement and defensive skills when he wants to use them. But when he smells blood that all goes out the window.

    I disagree. To me, he's mediocre in every aspect apart from his power. He's a puncher. I think from this level of opposition on, he will find it extremely difficult to win a fight without a knock out.

    I just watched this fight live. Mediocre or not, you gotta hand it to lemieux, he's an exciting fighter to watch.

    The crowds at the bell centre were electric! It was one hell of a fight!

    I thought Lemieux boxed really well considering he was way ahead due to the KD. Still room for improvement, but he barely got hit against a skillfull fighter. He didn't go enough to the body though. Everytime he did, he got openings upstairs.

    N'Dam is pretty good, he beat Stevens handily for instance, was winning most of the fight against Quillin (except from the KD).

    And at the end of the day, Lemieux is now IBF world champion, and most people were writing him off after the Rubio and the Alcine fights. He was then 23. He is now 26 and many good years to come espacially that a guy like doesn't rely on his athletism but on his technique.

    Just watched the fight in replay. Good fight. Skills vs Power.
    Lemieux is an exciting fighter to watch.
