How scared would some of these dudes be if they took clinching out of boxing?

    I think the OP is spot on. Floyd and Vlad do everything they can to avoid a fight. I thought Mayweather's win against Pac was a case in point, but he gets lauded for excessive caution and blatant running.

    I can't even watch Vlad!

    why not put a limit on the number of clinches per round say 3.. just like the personal fouls on bastketball. if you exceed the allowable 3 automatic point deduction. remember muhamad ali during his time.. he flurries some shots then pulls his opponent anc clinched.. pretty boring . you dont have to trade blows toe to toe but you can block, evade your opponent's attack.
