Ofcourse you don't, but Pastrano earned The nod over the man who outboxed Jones and Machen.

So hard to argue Pastrano as being inferior.

    Anyone can play that game

Machen easily knocked out the man who outboxed Pastrano (Alonzo Johnson)

And Pastrano beat Johnson as well in the rematch.

But you invited me to this game by comparing wins.

And ultimately, Pastrano walks away with one of the best wins between any of these guys. And some think he deserved the Moore decision too.

Why the Pastrano hate...he started at 120 and managed a hall of fame career against heavier and light heavier. Give some credit.

    Speaking of Harris

How do you explain Harris getting knocked out twice by Bob cleroux?
Then Zora Folley twice best Bob cleroux by shutout unanimous decision

He also walks away with the worst losses, several of them

Why the hate? I think pastrano gets severely overrated as a heavyweight, I don't think his style or tools weren't meant for him to become a good heavyweight, I think his resume at heavyweight is weak...ultimately he failed as a heavyweight

He wasn't even that good at 175, he lost to several average fighters. Guy was erratic.

Harris left his career in the ring with Liston.

No Powell beat Valdes in 1959

Machen beat Valdes in early 56, 3 years younger

    In an embarrassing performance. Pathetic

At least Valdes and williams did some serious damage to liston before getting knocked out

Harris looked like a pancy out there

It's the champions job to fight the BEST out there. Roy Harris was NOT the best out there

"There is a reason why Machen Folley Valdes, Williams proved to have much better careers than all of those men"

    Pastrano is in the Hall-of-Fame.

    Speaking of Valdes powell

Nino came in at a flabby 224 lbs., and was not in top shape. 26 year-old - Charley Powell
with a record of 19-3-2 (12 KO's) was supposed to be a good work out for Nino, nothing more.

Nino fought very fast-paced, and by Round 6 was 'sucking wind'. Charley Powell scored
'3-knockdowns' over an exhausted and extremely tired Valdes in Round 8. Nino got up
after the 'third knockdown' but he was so tired, he nearly fell over.

We are talking about the heavyweight division here. Pastrano is a hall of fame light heavyweight. Without his light heavyweight career no one would even remember his name today. He did not have a good heavyweight career

    Yep, ended the 58 rebound.

You brought up The 58 to argue Valdes was not declined when Machen beat him, your having the cake and eating it, man.

Folley Jackson Valdes all had better careers at heavyweight Than Willie pastrano

    True or false?
