Broners not promoted by him. They're friends but that's about it from what can be seen

 

Broner's fight was promoted by Mayweather Promotions, meaning Mayweather Promotions promoted Broner's fight.

 

Haymon should get really angry and throw Broner in with Beterbiev.

 

But throw Kell Brook in with Shawn Porter and you can make 350 million Americans angry :nod

 

I don't think Floyd likes Broner all that much to be honest. Floyds a bit of a Machiavelli character imo. He's not as bad as Haymon though. :scaredas:

Porter is NOT a slick, defensive fighter either. The way Porter fights (and I'm a fan of his) he'd struggle with someone like that. Broner has talent but he never puts it together and as a result, gets disputed wins or "exposed".

Still i do agree that Broner was fed to Porter as I think Haymon sees Porter as someone with more upswing (and less of a headache to deal with).

Broner cant hang with the bigger guys. Broners career could have been managed better. I know its easy to say after he looses a couple fights. But he could have gradually moved up in weight fighting guys moving up in a similar way like peterson or garcia. Only reason broner skipped 140 in first place was probably because he has trouble keeping weight down

 

By that logic, he also promoted Porters fight.

Broner is too lazy to make 140 he blows way up between fights. He also thought about chasing money fights at 147. If he was smart and dedicated he would have never skipped 140 there were good fights to be had there. Clearly. Mayweather promotes a one off Broner fight, and apparently he's upset over who wins/loses.

Only thing he cared about was how well that one fight card did. Broner is not a Mayweather promotions fighter.
