I don't think he's capable of letting his hands go with his fighting style. Broner has limitations, including his feet which appear to be rooted in cement. This always plays a role in limiting his output, as his feet are slow in my view, and don't put him in good position to punch more consistently.

Speed and handspeed make about 3% of what you need in boxing to succeed.

Boxing it said to be 90% mental, 10% physical.

Broner's best performances are outside the ring.

I don't understand why people keep saying Broner is so talented, he has no boxing IQ, his footwork is beyond terrible, no defense. The only things he has is good handspeed and power, so yes he's athletically pretty gifted but nothing really crazy either, too bad it takes more than being a decent athlete to make it in boxing.

There are dozens of young fighters far more talented than him.

Quintero beat Broner more convincing than De Leon. And that says a lot!

And Broner has very little in the mental category.

I think it's fair to say he's talented, but you and I both know, there have been plenty of "talented boxers" who have washed out. Takes more than talent. Another excellent point above on this same page making the point about how much boxing is a mental game as well.
