Yes, got great opportunities and showed he isn't quite good enough, go with the sky job and retire is probably best.

He's in the same category of Ritchie Woodhall, he doesn't need to stay in the game, he's a decent test for any fighter - but he's never going to be more than perhaps a European champion at most. He's done well given his lack of physical gifts and he is too intelligent to become a punchbag, he should become a trainer and help his brothers out in their corners as Stephen/Liam have promising careers ahead.

 

I think he now has a strong belief that's he's a lot better than he actually is and of course the thought of one more good pay-day .

 

Yep I'd agree he was resigned to losing to ward that's why he tried the lousy not making weight on purpose to get any type of advantage thing . He is a british level fighter that because a fading AA took him lightly in thier first fight now has the slight belief he is a world level fighter which he clearly isn't . Murray would of been a better contest but I don't think Murray really needs to fight ward at the moment another hard fight that he would lose is not what Murray needs
