    bailey,

    What alleged opinions?

No, it says it all, when I have to explain my actions to you.

It's not an unfounded opinion at all. Everyone knows how you debate.

Right, so let's pretend for a moment that Andre Ward had fought Eubank instead of Joe in 1997.

Are you going to tell me that you wouldn't have mentioned where he was in his career, and noted all of his circumstances surrounding his preparations?

How can you say no, when you never take any of it into account?

It's up to you how you interpret someone's post, and it's up to you to challenge what's been written.

But I note facts which can be backed up, and again, my opinions are always based on logic.

I can post you three interviews and an excerpt from his autobiography, all noting his circumstances going into the fight. But you wouldn't be interested. Because you have tunnel vision. You don't allow for circumstances and we know from your comments, that the only thing that you focus on, is that Joe beat one of the greatest SMW's of all time. You concentrate more on a fighters past glories, than where they were at the time of the fight. You favour black and white stats more than anything else. Which you prove again and again.

Again, I can show you numerous interviews.

No, you don't. You haven't taken into account any of what Eubank has said. Otherwise you wouldn't rate the win as highly as you do.

    This is my point.

There's no consistency when it comes to Joe. Your agenda is to protect and defend him at all costs, ignoring any facts or circumstances.

Again, whenever anyone mentions Ward's win over Kessler, you jump straight on them, telling everyone how Kessler was faded, unwell, and suffering from double vision.

But if you were as objective when it came to Joe, and you used the same criteria, you'd note that Eubank was also faded, he only had 11 days notice, no southpaw sparring, he couldn't do roadwork, he'd had injections in his knees, and he hadn't fought at the weight in two years, or won at the weight in three.

    But you don't.

Now if those had been Kessler's circumstances going into the Ward or Froch fights, I know that you would have listed all of them.

    It really is this simple:

    Kessler - Rusty, unwell etc

Eubank - A SMW great, and one of Joe's best wins.

That's how you see things, and you can't deny it.

And that is the perfect example of having an agenda to suit.

    I posted you the links.

What exactly do you find amusing?

Hopkins achieved more in his career.

    He had greater longevity.

He also fought guys who Joe wouldn't have fought, and if you don't agree, you're just kidding yourself.

All Joe has, is the zero and a razor thin win over him.

So how does that give him a higher ranking?

You simply can't make an objective case for Joe to be ranked higher.

Your three win rating system is just nonsense.

    It's a logical opinion.

Him putting weights in his pocket to fight at CW just emphasises my point.

He left SMW, had two CW fights, and signed to fight Prince at LHW. That's three fights away from SMW. Then after the shock call up as a last minute replacement for Collins to face Joe, he then put weights in his pocket to fight Thompson.

Were those the actions of a guy who had aspirations of resuming his SMW career?

    I think not.

These are the 55 posters that voted for Joe Calzaghe:-

1 belt, andyw362, Articfiery, bailey, beast boxer, Benitom3, Bensub, Beouche, besty1985, BetterThenYou, BIGMARK, BIGRON, blundell, Boo, boxfap, catchwtboxing, ChickenDance, chitownfightfan, Dinamis Russia, Dos Huevos, DrBanzai, DSG496, Ducklerr, Farmboxer, HEADBANGER, heerko koois, iceferg, Ilikeboxing, JayMaestro, jermainerambo, junk_koo_chang, KEIAN, king s, kragz, lefthandlead, lewis gassed, loko, Longcount, Mac mand, Mugwuffin, Peril, Pez, Ra's Al-Ghul, RememberingC.S., rob7779, sniffmybadger, sthomas, Super Hans, tennis, TerryESB, The Sarge, thedob01, timeout, Uhtred5150, UK2004

As you can see some of them should not be allowed to vote in such poll, here are few examples:-

1 belt, only voted for Calzaghe because Calzaghe is only known for 1 belt the WBO, which was weak before 2001.

bailey, known Calzaghe fanboy and in the past criticized internet polls his vote should also be dismissed from the poll.

BIGMARK and BIGRON obviously two anons of the same face, both have BIG in their name and both in capslock, a clear cut double alt just to boost Calzaghe's vote up.:-(

boxfap, as you can see from the "fap" in his name, he only voted for Calzaghe because of Calzaghe's dry hump of Hopkins so his vote should also be dismissed.:nono

Dinamis Russia, a clear Russian nationalist only voted for Calzaghe because he looks more Russian than Hopkins does. Vote dismissed.

DSG496, as his name suggests, he is Danny "Gift" Garcia fanboy and likes the fighter that gets the gifts and dislikes fighters that get robbed: so voted Calzaghe, another vote annulled.

Ducklerr, this poster likes his ducks, and thus voted Calzaghe. Weak vote.

Farmboxer, We hope the dude is doing well but his vote has not been taken serious since 2006 when he reached old age.:good Vote removed.

Ilikeboxing, His name suggests he likes boxing but voted for Calzaghe who used to slap more than he boxed, clear cut trolling and not living up to his name. Vote dismissed.:fight

JayMaestro, we don't usually take WWE/WWF fans serious here and he thinks because his name was JayMaestro instead of RayMaestro he wont get caught. But he did, vote removed.

kragz, wearing rags to the court is a sign of disrespect and thus opinion is not taken serious.

loko and Mac Mand, both admit to being loco and Mad. Insane peoples testimony is never taken serious in a proper court of Law. More votes annulled.:nut

Ra's Al Ghul, this guy has scored fights 119 -118, 120-117 in the past, and also is Ottke fanboy so thus cannot be taken serious in such poll. Vote dismissed.

tennis, this guy obviously watching the wrong sport, another vote removed from the poll.

TerryESB, named after known racist John Terry, thus cannot be included in polls involving black people. Vote removed.

timeout, Only votes for Calzaghe because of his employers in TEAM ELITE, and thus shouldnt be taken serious in discussions like this.

That is 18 posters whose votes were weak and should be removed leaving Calzaghe with a grand total of 37 to Hopkins 181:oops:

    Hopkins 83% - 17% Calzaghe :deal

real, you appear to have made a mistake in your calculation. Yuo've discounted those 18 votes, ok. but have you considered that if they were votes that were cast without bias, they would actually be votes for Hopkins.

Therefore making the poll 37 for calzaghe and about 200 for Hopkins (181+ these 18 votes).

Err Failey Or Bailey whatever your name is You forgot to mention that Joe Calzaghe is incapable of throwing a legal scoring punch. 75 % of Calzaghe blows are SLAPS with the inside of the glove, used to be called LACING, & therefore are ILLEGAL & DO NOT SCORE!!!!
Bernard Hopkins was robbed of decisions against Taylor twice & the Calzaghe debacle
Just look at the results of the poll Failey 75% of the forum rate Hopkins Wayyyyyy above Calzaghe. Don't you think its time you admitted defeat??
