If WARD thought he could beat Kov he would move up to 175 and fight him, it really is that simple.

I think it's probably about 18-24 months out, myself - and that's assuming neither man has their momentum derailed by someone else.

Would be nicer if it was closer to 12 months out, but I think that's wishful thinking, and I can't see it happening any time sooner.

Ward, if he's smart, will hold on to the hope that he may be able to land GGG before venturing north permanently.

I can't help it! No matter which way I turn, the liberal bias is just an omnipresent facet of life.

Good point that Beterbiev does have proven two-handed power, which is something Stevenson lacks. But I personally think the athleticism and speed advantages that Adonis holds over Artur would prove more burdensome for Ward than Beterbiev's 2-handed power.

Part of what you say is true, but then you conveniently ignore when Stevenson switched networks after previously agreeing to face Kovalev after the two were featured on the same card in showcase bouts.

Froch is intelligent, and does have a track record of doing better in rematches, so I wouldn't write that possibility off. But generally, boxers with high IQs, good skills, and great athleticism are more apt to make the appropriate adjustments in rematches based on my observations.

I'm convinced Ward is the one who will be able to make better adjustments based on their first encounter.

Beyond that, I'm inclined to believe that Ward is better now than when first they met, whereas Froch I think is on the slow and steady.

Bare in mind if Ward fights Kovalev in will only be on Wards terms so we can expect it:

    -In Ward's back garden
-Below 175 and probably a hydration clause
    -Pillow gloves
    -Giant ring
-A ref that allows Ward to do as much wrestling as he wants

And also bare in mind the unfair demands of split Ward would request I don't think this fight would happen and if it did the terms would massively favour Ward so I think he'd be a strong favorite.

Don't be fooled by Kovalev and make another Teddy Atlas type pick by going with him over Ward in the future.

I agree on GGG and Froch but not sure Ward can keep his discipline, ring IQ and technique when he tastes big LHW power. Still I'd favour him over Stevenson and current Beterbiev, I don't think he has a chance against Kovalev. He might really end up like Apollo

Actually, both were then. One maneuver is more recent, of course, but I'm hard pressed to see how someone can lay full blame exclusively on either fighter when they have both expressed reluctance to face one another.

The fact of the matter is, team TOMATO KAN Krusher lobbied the WBC to be made the mandatory for Stevenson's title and got their wish. Instead of forcing the issue they decided to turn belly up and bail. And this comes after months of **** talking and claiming that they wanted to get Stevenson in the ring.

Whitewash it as much as you want but team TOMATO KAN Krusher is guilty of perhaps *the* biggest DUCK in recent boxing history.
