He was drained. Haymon wanted to make him a corpse, though with the rehydration clause. Even while drained, he was able to kick Broner's a$$ is all.

Team Broner also thought he'd be weight drained...and the whole reason there was a catchweight at all.You get that, right?

This is true, a catch weight doesn't automatically mean it will have the desired effect by the imposer. Porter was obviously not drained, still though, it does make Broner look worse for having tried to drain him and still lose.

If you think he looked the same as he did against Brook, you're obviously dumb. The man looked about 70% of that. Making weight obviously took something out of him. Did you see him during the weigh-in? He looked drawn and gross. Broner just so happens to suck that much is all.

Did it occur to you that he may have been a chubby kid?

Porter looked sharp and his power was evident in that match.

He's a good fighter, but he's very sloppy. Anyone with good technical ability that actually throws more than 20 punches per round can give him a good fight. Still, he's a solid WW and it'll be interesting to see his continued development as he takes on bigger names.

It's because he wasn't as big as in other fights. Broner was bigger than Porter, in the ring :patsch! Way more muscolar in the shoulders :yikes

took nothing out of him! Brrok is a better fighter then Broner, thats all. Thats why Porter looked different because Brook put it on him.
