From what I remember, wasn't the 2002 English team one of the best teams ever assembled?

They had of course Seaman, Beckham, Ferdinand, Mills, Owen, forgot the rest.

It was an amazing team I remember.

A team full of hype jobs really. Beckham is nowhere near as good as his popularity would have you believe.

 

It was a great side. The one that beat Germany 5-0 in qualies. One of the happiest days of my life :happy

To add to your list there was... Scholesy, Sol (before he was a total lump), a young Cashley, a young Gerrard, an old Sheringham still mucking about off the bench.
