Suppose it will all come down to the Seniors at the end of the year. Winner goes to the 2 amateur style qualifying tournaments, loser goes to the APB/WSB crossover qualifying tournament

FOUR Irish fighters will be in European Championships action tomorrow.
Team Ireland could increase their medal haul from two to five if results go their way.
Katie Taylor is up first and will be looking to secure major championship medal number 18 when she takes to the ring at 8:45.
Michael O’Reilly (9:15am) and Irish captain Darren O’Neill (10am) will also be in quarter final action.
Brendan Irvine will meet Ukrainian light-fly Dmytro Zamotayev for a place in the 49kg final at approximately 3pm tomorrow (Irish time).

O Reilly was class today. Missed O Neill seen the end of the Taylor fight so far so good in the ring today.

Is there any news on who will be covering the Frampton fight from the US? Will it be ITV again or will sky get in and show this to keep the build up of a Quigg v Frampton fight with both on the same night???

Hearn said when it was announced that he thinks ITV are covering it but I wouldn't be surprised if SKY swooped it, they've shown PBC fights before and Matchroom have a good relationship with Al Haymon

How do ye reckon Irivine would fare against Barnes? Would Barnes just have that bit too much experience for him?

Does Irvine move up and try to qualify at 52kg next year?? Thoughts........

i think moving up to 52kg would be a good idea, i dont see much depth in that division internationally atm, at the last olympics it was red hot

he could also choose to stay at 49kg and qualify which would force a box off with barnes. I think barnes is the best 49kg man in the world atm and at the top of his game, but irvine is a slick boxer he could give him some problems

Irvine should definitely move up to 52kg. He's very big at the weight and still only a teenager. Realistically I could see him at 56kg one day.

irvine is a shoe in for gold, although you never know facing a russian

O'Reilly has to face n experineced russian next and then a home fighter more than likely. i think his the best fighter left in the division but will the decisions got his way?

and McComb has no chance of beating Selimov in the semis. Selimov is arguably the best 6okg fighter in the world and his going to have the azerbajiani judging behind him.

Irvine is the only fighter to beat an azerbajian fighter yet, thats amazing
