That would be the worst thing ever

The only reason I watch clips of that show is to remind myself of the sort of people that I would send to the gulag if I ever came to power

Not sure what more confirmation you need! It was in the Daily Mail a month or so back and Sky didn't deny it, and the last few weeks on air Smith and Nelson have been bigging up the daily online content they're having from 1 July instead of a weekly show, so I imagine this week's is the last. Budget cuts is the reason, but it must be one of Sky's cheaper shows to make.

Won't miss it, I still watched it on the tube every week, but I'd have never sat down and watched it on the telly these days. As others have said, the same four or five guests having the same discussions every week, and five years in, Nelson still can't read an autocue. They could have saved it a couple of years ago by trimming it to half an hour and taking it on the road to a different gym each week, but they didn't. An absolute dead duck.

Sadly it is a very tired format and the only times it has been interesting the last couple of years has been when rival boxers have been on.

Smith looks in awe of anyone that has laced them up which makes for some really repetitive, bland interviews.

reckon it ratings more than budget cuts, pretty certain they were waxing lyrical a few months ago about all the new toys in the studio

It needs overhauled badly, they need to get Jim Rosenthel in as presenter and mix it up a bit, sky should force miss-matchroom to put clauses in their 'PPV' fighter's contacts to make guest appearances on the show seeing as they are happy to take our money for mediocrity.

I enjoyed the episode where Anthony Ogogo came on and disagreed with everything Spencer Oliver said. He was right too - just giving an unbiased opinion whereas Oliver had no idea what was going on apart from whatever info was fed to him 10 mins before. Haven't seen Ogogo on the show since!

so does this mean that Boxnation will be going on after Ringside ... Surely not, i think Boxnation has stolen most of Ringside's viewers its too strong and Sky cant compete.

Somebodies pulling my leg surely its Boxnation shutting down and not Skys Ringside...

After all your predictions how can this be ?!?
