FWIW, I think its a tough fight to call, but Id pick Jacobs.

I think he needs a fight like this to "break out" so to speak

 

With Jacobs having a glass jaw, the fight will not last beyond the 3rd round.

 

Quillin and Jacobs on one side of the MW division, everybody else on the other........ fukk PBC.

 

Lemieux would KO Jacobs.

The only thing I see going in Jacobs' favour is a big reach advantage, being plenty able to catch David coming in swinging.

Still, more chances of a Lemieux T/KO imo.

Hearn has a couple of good MW's and he deals with PBC
Khytrov is arguably the best MW prospect
Derevianchenko is another top MW prospect. Saying "everyone" else is a little much.

Most guys are free agents to fight wherever. Its only a few guys that are absolutely tied to HBO.

 

yup david has worked on his stamina problems, jacobs chin is still china, it gets smashed within 6 rounds

 

How did his huge reach advantage help N'Dam ? Jacobs wouldn't get up like N'Dam did.

 

Lee is not a Haymon guy though, he could fight on HBO.

Hearn's had his fighters on HBO before.

The prospects you mentioned are not even at the title eliminator level so that point is moot.

What other MWs does Haymon have? I only see Quillin & Jacobs.

N'Dam's reach advantage helped him in staying out of David's bomb range. It forced Lemieux to take shots coming in to land his own... point is, Jacobs hit much harder than N'Dam and will catch Lemieux coming in as well.
