Had Cotto beat Margarito, he no doubt would have faced DLH. Not sure why Marg didn't get the same golden ticket. It would have been a good fight, but DLH would have taken it off his jab and left hook alone.
Margarito scared him same as he did Floyd & the others. They wouldn't fight him they had to figure out a way to get rid of him WITHOUT!!!!!!
I think everyone expected Cotto to easily beat Margarito. Margarito didn't have a real fan base, and I'm sure for Oscar's last fight felt it was too much risk not enough reward, so he opted for a big risk with a very nice reward in Pacquiao. As a result of him fighting Pacquiao instead aside the ass kicking he got, he sold well over 1 million PPVs and he also had options or some kind of rights to a few of Pacquiao's fights after Oscar pesuaded Pac to sign a GBP contract, so essentially Arum had to pay ODLH a cut everytime Pac fought.
