Chris Eubank was preparing to fight Mark Prince at LHW and with 2 weeks notice went down in weight to fight Joe Calzaghe.

The effect of the change in weight may not be as dangerous as the change of opponent. Maybe you would require more than 2 weeks preparation to get ready for a slick high volume undefeated southpaw with slap technique like Calzaghe and that for a world title.

Still semi retired, weight drained, 2 week prepared battle torn, lisp talking, exhibition bouts in Dubai fighting, lost his killer instinct after Watson II battling, boxing at Cruiserweight before and after Calzaghe fighting, old legendary veteran underdog Chris Eubank... still managed to take young hungry Calzaghe into the trenches and finished strong.

Yeah I think everyone pretty much accepts that here no one is even really questioning who ranks higher or Hopkins status, people just questioning Calzaghe's resume as it lacks the quality to match up against BHops.

I am shocked that Calzaghe has over 20% of the votes. Absolutely shocked!

Joe beat Chris wide, fair and square. Please give me specific examples of how the referee or location had any impact on the outcome.
