Ray Mercer's K.O of Morrison most brutal ever?

Both fight show what a tough SOB Ray mercer was. Both referees were sadly lacking & were lucky neither fighter was seriously hurt or worse.
Morrison especially took some hellacious shots while obviously out cold

 

Tua vs Ruiz is up there. Ruiz was out and then Tua catches him with one last brutal hook. Nasty KO.

 

They did indeed end exactly as they should have. And I'd loved watching them. Still do. Wish more refs let fights end as they should - decided by fighters fists, not by a squeamish ref!

Yeah, it's funny you mentioned that.. I watched the KO immediate after posting that video.

 

I was glad Mercer scored that KO. I never liked Morrison, he had talent but was a lazy party boy who rode that John Wayne relative thing into the ground.

 

I also hate all the excuses Morrison fans bring up, like being gassed. Mercer took matters into his own hands in the 4th, softening Morrison up. Then came out blazing in the 5th showing Morrison no mercy

 

Riding Marion Morrison was the least of Tommy's problems... Banging chicks with HIV comes to mind as the most serious problem with him during his career...

This is one of the worst ref performances of all time when it comes to waiting too long to stop the fight. We're lucky a man didn't die in that clip.

 

I shouldn't really laugh out loud every time I see that, and wouldn't normally, but Morrison is just such a doofus, I can't help myself.
