Canelo has fought much better opposition because the much better opposition cannot be bribed to get into the ring with Golovkin. Canelo is Canelo.

Plus, I honestly thought Canelo was just too green when he fought Mayweather...

I agree to an extent, GGG has the edge in power & footwork but Canelo is faster, better defense, a better offensive fighter, and more experienced as a pro.

Stamina is about even but stylewise GGG plays into what Alvarez wants someone to come towards him so he can counter. Lara lost and ran from Canelo and Mayweather is Mayweather, I can see Canelo winning 2-4 rds off activity in that fight.

GGG won't even fight Lara and would likely lose to Mayweather at 154 as well so those fight's have no bearings.
GGG has said a 18 yr old Canelo is one of the toughest he's been in the ring with. As far as fighting each other Canelo has said he has no problem with the bout. People bring up Oscar saying down the line but think about it if/when he beats Cotto he might try a Floyd rematch in May both are bigger fight's that ain't a duck.

Yes, it counts for amateur experience. Means less than nothing at the top level of the sport - for which Golovkin isn't yet even a neophyte.

What counts here is BIG fight experience. Canelo has had at least two. Golovkin, OTOH, is still counting how many TOMATO CANs he can knock over..

..he wants no part of Erislandy Lara or Andre Ward. Hell, he doesn't even want to get in the ring with ole man rusty Carl Froch...

How do people seriously have the audacity to come out and say such ****? If you honestly believe their stamina is the same, then I don't know what to tell you.

what makes ggg special is that he can cut the ring off, canelo can't. even with a second chance to prove that he learned from is mistakes in the Lara fight.

Cheato is still an unmovable object, I'm pretty sure if he had cement in his gloves like before then he'd make GGG his *****.
