Callum Smith v Christopher Rebrasse // Rocky Fielding v Brian Vera

Terrible officiating at around 7.40

Vera touches down, the ring announcers begins the count, gets back up and Fielding drops him again hard- gets back up- while the ring announcer is still counting a d the ref picks up that count.

Ref totally panicked because he didn't stop them after Vera touched down in the first place.

 

BKB ruined Vera. :-(

He went down from that left uppercut like it was a Taser.

Fielding isn't really all that.

 

Yeah. Total slapstick. Lewis is up there (or rather down there) with Joe Walcott.

Fielding is better than given credit for, he's better than Zeuge and Feigenbutz, but below Calum Smith, Gilberto Ramirez and the like.

 

I am still amazed Ian John Lewis is a referee, this isn't the first time by a long shot that he has messed up.

I have no idea why the BBBofC continue to support him, There must be a bunch of young referees that are waiting to be moved on and moved up, give those a chance to make a career refereeing because Ian John Lewis is ruining fights and sometimes setting back fighters careers with his actions.
