Did mikey Garcia choose his lengthy period of inactivity too? What am I crying about? It's ggg fans who cry.......claiming ward was called out for years when that's a strech........hey I dont care what ggg does.....he can go the rest of his career like this if he wants....I just wonder what the point really is.......but if he keeps going like this most of us are going to laugh at his career when it's done
You mean fighting 4 times a year against the best available opponents? Not much to laugh at, I wish all fighters would do this.
When the "best available" opponents list becomes full of fighters that re not top 50 p4p guys.....usually the fans would demand fighter to move out of their weight class and seek out top fighters .....but not with ggg.....it's ok for him to stay the course .......or unless he's talking about going down to 154 to fight floyd lol
At least he is doing what he ought to be doing if the hype has some legitimacy behind it, sweeping them aside and not even bothering with a defense. 345-5 as an amateur surely must count for something, I know the pros is a different ballpark but the guy is legit, he just needs an A-level fighter to get in there with him and we'll see if he's elite or just very good.
