    The problem with Valdez Fierro is he is content to just make contact with Tamayo at the very end of his punches. With a taller opponent you need to cut the distance to make sure you're still able to leverage those shots and make them hurtful, and he just never bothered doing that. Hence the chinny Tamayo was never too badly phased by anything.

    That Salido-Loma fight was pathetic; close fight, Salido was dirty af and the referee was a disgrace. It was also Loma's second pro fight. I'm surprised they gave it to Salido, they could very well have given it to the fighter they were trying to build. This coming from a Mexican btw.
