Why does Mayweather think he can choose who fights for vacant titles?

    But Arum can give titles to bums like Rios & get title shot for a guy who's had 1 fight in lomachenko ?

    Difference is with Lomochenko, he beat a guy in the top 15 in his first fight to earn a top 15 ranking himself, and Salido was already champion.

    Normally when a title is vacant it is contested between 2 in the top 5- of which Spence is not ranked by any of the governing bodies.

    26th by the WBC and not at all by the WBO.

    His best chance of fighting for a title is to fight for Thurman's WBC 'Regular' title. And when Mayweather vacates the winner get promoted to full champ.

    That's why I prefer the IBF. You actually have to fight your mado. And it gives guys who aren't with big promoters or HBO or Showtime a way in (see Brook).

    Don't matter, Loma was only fighting his second or third fight as a pro and Spence is 17/0 as a pro. Nothing normal about boxing any more, it's not structured as it once was and fights are pretty just made by popularity. If Loma deserved a shot, so does Spence.

    Here is an idea, if Spence is all that, why doesn't Mayweather give him a chance to win the belts off him?

    Also the guy Loma beat in his debut is better than all the guys Spence has faced thus far.

    Here's a better idea, Spence vs Thurman for the belt. Who Loma beat is irrelevant, the fact is that it was only his second pro fight and like I said, if he can get a title shot, so can Spence.

    So say someone was to beat, let's say Manny Pacquiao on their debut.

    And let's say someone has fought 25 fights against Eric Crumble.

    Who deserves a title shot more?
