Can't see it. He might KO him but he doesn't have the fitness to make him quit.

I just wonder why some people said that Margo did not use plaster. If he didn't why was he banned one year? :huh

I can see Cotto getting stopped on his feet in a grueling competitive fight, Alvarez has a lot of advantages here but Cotto is a HOFer for a reason.

This ends up being the passing of the torch May-Canelo wasn't.

Just the Mosley fight officially, but everyone accuses him of using them against Cotto with 0 proof.

OK. I'll try to believe that Margaricheato did not use plaster to K.O. Cotto.

BTW, I don't think that Cannelo can make Cotto quit on his stool.

Its not that hard to believe, Torres and Judah almost KO'd him, and they were both affected by his power and succumbed to it. Margarito was unaffected by it and walked right through everything Cotto threw at him, did Tony have a plaster helmet on?

No, He wore Cotto down with his constant pressure and beat him into submission and ripped up his face, and that's no big deal either, Clottey, Pacquiao and even Trout tore up his paper thin skin as well.

Margarito NEVER used or tried to use plaster He LEGITIMATELY made Cotto Kneel and QUIT!!!!& was set to repeat till the doc saved Cotto the embarrassment. Margarito's career & good name were tarnished by a blatant LIE!!!!!!!

    Disagree.

the fighters that have given Cotto trouble in the past have been fast (Pac/Judah/Mosely) -- which Canelo isn't.

Or they've had relentless pressure (Margarito) -- which Canelo doesn't really do.

Or they've been Mayweather -- which Canelo ain't.

Canelo isn't even a 1 punch KO artist and he has average (sometimes bad) stamina. It's not like Canelo will be bouncing rights off of Cotto for 12 rounds straight because he never keeps up the intensity.

Further, Canelo's footwork isn't fast like Pac so it's not like he'll be slicing him up with angles.

Honestly, I don't think Canelo wins this. With honest judges I think Cotto takes a decision.
