This is so weird. The MW champ is fighting a JMW and is looking for a lower CW than the JMW. And why would Canelo have a problem with 155? He says he's a JMW and he's been fighting at 155.

 

It's pretty crazy weight numbers are treated like dollar numbers in negotiations nowadays. Cotto agreed to Degale at 157 he had no problem making it, and he seemed no worse for the ware for their performance. It's like a freakin' auction or something. 158 do I hear 157!? 157!? I hear 157! It makes me question how confident these guys are in their abilities if 1 pound gets in the "weigh" of this fight happening.

 

If this is true, is Canelo ****ing serious? Actually are both serious? **** is a straight up joke.

It's all about ego, anywhere between 155 and 160 just throw a damn dart, it's not going to affect either of them since they've been at Canelo/Cotto weight for two fights now.

 

Fight at 160 or ****** off. I seriously have no idea why catchweights are a thing.
