Is it just me who thinks Rigondeux is a little bit over rated?

He's only been a champion in one weight and yes his skill and speed are without doubt p4p some of the best in the game but his chin, durability and heart are all questionable and these three are all very important in the pro game.

To add to that he isn't really an exceptional knock-out puncher. Now I'm not doubting the fact that he is an amazing talent but until all of my questions have been answered I'm not prepared to put him in my top 10 p4p and I think it's a bit laughable most have him rated as number 2 or 3.

I know he's been shamelessly avoided by Quigg, Frampton and Santa Cruz which is annoying but the fact still remains his resume isn't that outstanding and he has been decked a few times and dragged into a hard fight or two.

Now even Golovkin who's in the same catch 22 situation of being avoided by the big names at his weight never gets put in people's top 3 p4p rankings and for me Golovkin has been a bit more impressive and active and was willing to fight an established 168lbs champion in Carl Froch.

So until Rigondeux gets a few really big wins, perhaps moves up a weight and fights Lomachenko, he doesn't make it into my top 10 pound for pound.

He's a brilliant fighter. When he was active one of my favourites. He's a small bantam though, can't see him moving up.

And if you don't put him in your p4p list, that's fine. He needs to beat atleast one of that trio. Frampton would put him back in the top 10.

Quigg,Frampton and Santa Cruz are the over rated ones. The way they avoid Rigo is insulting to any true boxing fan. They should be ashamed of themselves.

If you read my first post I acknowledge the fight he's been ducked but that still doesn't rank him above Cotto, Pacquiao, Bradley, Klitschko, Kovalev, Andre Ward and Mayweather. Then you pack of fighters like Canelo, Golovkin, Stevenson etc. who are on the same level of looking very good lacking the resume.

I don't see why Rigondeux is above all of them in the pro ranks. For me he's up there but he still has a lot to prove.

He got put in because he beat and outclassed Nonito Donaire, who's been the best fighter South of Featherweight for YEARS and is a future HOF and borderline ATG. Since that schooling, everyone and their mom has been avoiding El Chacal.

Bumlovkin's best opponent is a quitter who got beat by a shot midget.

Murray got beat by a cripple and only known for having a close fight with a shot to **** Felix Sturm who in his prime was only the 4th or 5th best MW around. :yep

The quitter is clearly more accomplished.

Yeah, he's overrated, particularly his shaky mandible. He's packing glass, but many refuse to admit it.

You seem to be a man of opinion and conspiracy, I'm a man of facts.

If he did beat them, he'd be a former champ right now..

Only former champs in GGG's resume are a shot JMW Ouma with 200 losses and the Quitter.. :yep

He is unique, and the way he is avoided show you only part of the Picture ...
... you could add that he is one of the few couple who got two golds out of two Olympics ...

And Maidana was a harder fight for Floyd than Pac, but Excusiao is still the better opponent and name.. :yep

Not sure what your point is.
