You will obviously take the non-Brits side since you are the self-dubbed "master of Brits and Euros". Hopkins beat Pavlik in his next fight after Zaggers and beat Tarver and Winky in the 2 fights running up. He was in a great run of form. Zaggers was a injured and old before his time.

I will add Ward may go on to be greater than Calzaghe, in fact I expect it but sometimes it's a matter of styles.

If Ward had a better right hand like BHop, if he had the pop to keep Calzaghe off him and if Calzaghe hadn't proved he could adapt and alter game plans to win fights then maybe I'd favour Ward but at the moment based upon what we've see of Ward I'd still favour Calzaghe and I don't like Calzaghe at all and am a Ward fan. Until Ward can show something more than he has so far I will favour Calzaghe in a close fight.

I could say the same to you. The only people that would argue about the fact that the fight can't be scored for Hopkins are brit****s. This is fact. You brit****s score zaggers slaps like they're flushs hots . To me one of the most important aspects in scoring fights are how clean and effective a pucnh is landed, but clearly you dont know hwo to score a fight so this is irrelevant ot you.

Since when was Pavlik an A level fighter? Are you really crediting HOpkins for beating Winky lmfao, did youw atch the fight, and do you not know that he was at 160 a fight before? Do you not realize how much the cut had an effect on the outcome of the fight too?
Nice excuse for Zaggers being injured though. I'm sure an ancient Hopkins didn't have to deal with any injuries.

So tell me who exactly did Pavlik beat, give me his extensive resume. The only name win that's even worth mentioning on his resume is Jermaine Taylor . Also same goes got Tarver, he lost twice once to Johnson and didnt beat jones until he was off whatever drug he was on . On the other hand Calzaghe was taking his biggest challenges in that part of his career by fighting a young undefeated lion in Kessler, so clearly he was closer to his prime.

HIs win over Jones was in 04.

Also I've mentioned several times my scoring for Brook/Porter was solely based on the 100+ times Brook held Porter. You can go back and quote me. I thought Porter was robbed because he was the champ, and you can't take the title from a champ holding that much. The guy hugged Brook more than Abril hugged Rios . If we're talking about who won the boxing match, Brook clearly did, but you shouldn't be able to take a title that way.

 

Calzaghe is above elite...he is in the ATG level. ATG talent, skill, and boxing IQ....Ward does't have all three like Joe does.
