I think Kell would lose to Alexander. Yeah I know Kell beat porter who beat Alexande but styles make fights.
Brook is too big, too strong and imo would beat him easy. devon alexander is one of those fighters that has all the skill and tools but mentally he cant handle the big occasions.
I think Brook beats him, 117-111 type score but Chavez would be very much beaten up, plus Alexander adds some credibility to the resume too.
I'd rather Chaves got the shot, he deserves a chance and comes to fight. How Alexander, who comprehensively lost his last fight and 2 of his last 4, is getting another shot is beyond me. Hopefully Bradley gets elevated to full WBO champ and Brook can have a unification fight with him before this mando is enforced.
to be fair to Devon he's fought witter (when he was decent) urango, mattysse, maidana, kotelnik, Bradley, Bailey porter, karacass, khan and lee Purdy in his last 11 fights only losing 3 and becoming 3 time world champion. He's not picked bums to pad his record like most others have. Think Devon will win a UD vs chavez.
Kell could smash the **** out of Alexander and get him out of there in 5/6 rounds and khan fans would still try to say it weren't as good as khans performance
He really wouldn't though. Alexanders been in there with monsterous punchers and survived easily, his chin is certified granite and Brooks power is vastly over rated. Broner dropped Porter hard, brook landed on Porter at will and never even had him close to dropping.
