Why did it fail? Because you said so?

Zaggers beat a prime Kessler with clean punching in a great spectacle, a very good fight with zaggers showing speed, chin, grit and adaptability.

Ward beat a past prime Kessler with headbutts. A travesty of a fight

No Ward schooled Kesselr much easier than Joe did

What do you mean Ward's a poor man's Calzaghe?

He's been out with injuries and promotional issues.

How do we know that Joe would have gone straight at Bute? I'm not getting into a Ward vs Bute debate again, but it makes no sense to me that Ward would duck Bute to fight Dawson. Dawson was much more proven, and Joe wouldn't have fought Dawson.

How did it make sense to offer Pavlik a fight in 2006, but not in 2008?

You can't criticise Ward at 31, when Joe didn't even fight Lacy or Kessler until he was 34 and 35. Joe fought in a weak division for a long time, and seemed happy to make WBO title defences against Smith type opposition, while constantly telling reporters he was tight at the weight and he wanted bigger fights etc.

I don't call clinching someone and head butting someone to death schooling anyone lad.

Clean landed hard punches which zaggers landed on prime Kessler was far more impressive.

    Funny but all
remember was Ward tagging Kessler to death !Zaggers beat an undefeated Kessler no doubt but Ward schooled him much easier plus Kesselr was the favorite to win the S6 no one gave Ward a shot ..

I think Joe would definitely have beaten Froch.

But I think that Ward's win over Froch with a double fracture of his hand, is up there with Joe's win over Kessler.

once again a failed argument - calzaghe has ALWAYS been the polar opposite of landing clean hard punches!

Kessler himself states that calzaghes punches didn't damage him, and that his pace was what he couldn't keep up with when only one armed.

Joe hits hard enough to keep people off him and more.

How on earth is he avoiding every fight that could be made, when he's only just returned?

Groves is fighting Jack. Hopefully, Groves will win which will then set up a huge rematch with DeGale. That's what would happen in a perfect world. Then hopefully the winner will fight Ward. There's no point in Ward fighting Andre Dirrell. Because it's a hard fight stylistically, for no money and no titles.

But I expect Ward to fight DeGale or Groves within the next 12 months.

I have no doubt ward will have faced most of them by the end of his reign.

I'd have no doubt that calzgahe would have avoided all of them if it was his defence reign (albeit joes defence reign was practically for only the wbo title, a fraction of wards).

barely 2 years between the calzaghe and ward fights for mikkel to fade in is no fade- failed ever since that was pointed out.

But I'm not sorry that you failed.
