    I'm a fan....But he's got no business getting ppls hopes up only to douse them again.

    Last yr it was the poll...which GGG won by 30%....

    Now he pretends interested in the fight but was merely hyping a DeGale fight I think

    Carl Froch should have been much bigger than he is in the UK, it's almost criminal that for a large majority of his career he was an unknown. Ricky Hatton for whatever reason was seen as a bigger star. While guys like Froch and Calzaghe for whatever reasons don't get to his level of popularity over there.

    :lol::rofl:lol:

    That was a great chant I must admit, it made for a great fight atmosphere. Hatton had some great fans and support no doubt.

    Hatton was seen as more of a man of the people and portrayed himself as such. That's why he was more popular.

    What is Froch seen as over there? I can kind of understand Calzaghe not being as popular because he was from Wales but with Froch I don't understand it.

    Stop being a baby. He's a grown man and can do what he wants. Enjoy him in the ring and stfu.

    He is well respected in England as far as I'm aware. Like I said I just think the fans could relate to Hatton more

    I'm sure all of you guys are very likable and upstanding pillars of your community, Froch is pompous, that's a hell of a lot better a flaw than most have.

    Ricky was a bit more of the bloke you'd see at the pub, loved his Guinness, loved his fish n'chips and his football team. He was pretty funny as well, always has a good joke. Froch is more respected because of his toughness and his determination. As a personality, some people find him a bit arrogant although some think that's justified as he backs it up. He used to be a bit awkward with interviews as well.

    Well stated:good

    Besides, Froch has a reason to be pompous, considering his career and that piece of ass that he has for a wife.
