news just in!! delboy82 doesnt read post properly and runs to billys defence without understanding what he is actually backing him up about!! lol i was referring to the post where he told us that ally black was still undefeated!! ally was beat on saturday so thats not backing someone is it? that is not knowing what is actually going on hence why he doesnt have a clue!!

no mate that is concentration on the fighters I actually coach ie down in Newcastle sat and sun with my fighter Lewis Ritson for his fight, I can't worry anymore how Ally's doing he's no longer in my gym, it's a bit selfish but that's the way it goes.

It was purely down to Ally's work and not being able to come to the gym regularly, he's a top lad, gutted he lost though, hard to get Lewis sparring up here now, we had 20 odd good rounds with Anthony Crolla leading to Sundays fight and to be honest that's what he needs

then you should have read Billy posts properly numbnuts. Billy wasnt aware that he had fought so was backing him " however ally is a good fighter and remains unbeaten hence your claims are wrong thus far" he was backing him under the premise that he didnt know he had just fought. Again trainer backs someone he has worked with STOP THE PRESS !!

lol he never stated that he was no longer training ally, just that he sparred ronnie when in his gym? was that ally in his gym or ronnie?? wasnt very clear imo so my point still stands, once he cleared it up that he no longer trained him and gave reasons then the matter was closed.

Either way he HAS worked with him that much was obvious, Id always back those I ahd worked with and got on with. Nothing wrong backing those who you have worked with. Sport would be a very boring thing if fans all just followed and backed the people that "should" win. He did also apologise for gettin it wrong ... dunno what else you want from him ?

i really dont understand why you are making such a big deal out of it? i said he was clueless about ally being undefeated when he was beaten at the weekend, it was after that quote that he mentioned he didnt train him anymore and apologised for not knowing!! since then i havent had a go at him about it so where is your point about what else do i want from him come?

My reply wasnt really directed straight at you just in general. I was just saying that its normal to back those that your personal with. Ie i would always back Rangers to beat Chelsea at home regardless how much of an uphill task it is. People are quick to jump on Billys back. Iv met him twice (he wont know me tho!) and he has been more than brand new and had the time to spare a few words. It just really annoys me when we have someone in the game (and im not saying you) but folk make it their sole purpose to try and drive him out. Guys that have a genuine insight to the world of boxing should be welcomed on here not targetted. So many people hide in the wings waiting for for him (or others) to make one wee mistake then pounce on them. for eg Solaris trolls the life outta Billy to the point where i dont think iv EVER seen a thread on here that Billy has commented on that Solaris hasnt jumped on to give stick. Pathetic so it is.
