For some reason Froch seems shaken by GGG. Its irrational fear, reminds me of how Floyd was shaken by Pac for all these years.

It would be an epic battle.

I hope he's just building it up.

Golovkin would knock Froch out, he hits too hard, has too many skills and would outbox Froch, set him up and knock him out.................Froch knows this.................

What a load of cr4p, no one has any idea if his power carries up. He clearly has the skills but over the last 12 months he's stopped using them, instead opting to march forward in straight lines with little or no head movent, for a guy with a five inch reach advantage he'll be a sitting duck.

I would call it an even fight but given how intimidated Carl is, GGG is the favourite.

Carl is scared of no man

He's proven that endlessly over his career - one of the very very few big names of that generation to do so

The fact that a few people STILL accuse him of cowardice is a ****ing joke

    It's 50/50

no one knows for sure what would go down

which - along with the fact they're two of the most aggressive badasses in the sport - make it so damn intriguing

i hope Carl's just baiting us all along and takes it

win or lose, he'd get humongous respect, and retire with yet another gigantic payday

Agree , i like GGG but Froch aint scared , he might think its going to be a war and he isnt intersted in a war for his last fight , who can blame him , but all the GGG talk coming from his side makes it look bad because he gets called out from the other side after making those statments and then never reply.... makes him look bad.

That's what I meant by intimidated. But I agree that a 12 rounds toe to toe war with GGG would be great for Froch's legacy, win or loose.

I have tons of respect for Froch. He is a warrior and has always faced the toughest opposition.

However, especially at this stage in his career, he does not stand a chance against GGG.

    I feel the same.

I honestly believe in the depths of my mind that Froch didn't retire to swerve GGG or Chunky. I believe he believed that Dirrel was gonna beat DeGale and I just know Haymon would have basically forced Froch to retire, drop his belt or pass it to Dirrel in a LV CASINO boxing ring.

    Just IMHO.

I also believe he thought Chavez was gonna add up at SMW/LHW.....And fighting him on PPV woulda been huge for his retirement and his legacy.

    However....

We can almost all agree that beating GGG on HBO PPV and SkyPPV in front of 45k PAYING FANS in Nottingham would do far more for his retirement and for his legacy

    Prove it.

    Take the fight.

It's sure to be a good pay day and everyone wants to see it.

What is the obstacle to making this fight? Just do it.

Froch has been interested in the Golovkin fight for a while, however Eddie Hearn has been worried about him getting stopped and discouraged him from taking it.
