Jamie Conlan Fight , Worst Scorecards Ever Perhaps ??

I think I had Granados win the 4th and 7th. Generally any round he landed big in it was literally maybe 2-3 big right hands which wasn't enough to shade the round for me.

That said Conlon fought the wrong fight a lot of the time and would need to up his game before facing Butler or he'll be stopped inside 4.

 

The worst ever was Burns-Beltran. Ricky won 3 rounds max!

 

Beltran had 10 rounds to KO a man with a broken jaw so only had himself to blame.

No sympathy for that one at all.

 

The scorecards were immaterial,Vann actually won the fight for Conlin!

 

Conlan won the 4th imo, he was boxing well then got caught with one big shot, Conlan won the first 2 handy and the last 3 aswel, ill have to look back but I had him winning other rounds aswel between 3-6 which was enough to win, to many people cry robbery these days, just because a lad is marked up and took a beating in one round does not mean he lost the fight , too many casual fans these day who judge a fight on this basis .

 

I thought Conlan fought well and deserved to win on points BUT most refs would have stopped the fight when he failed to fight back and we had an extremely long count Vann,s yer man!atsch

So great to see Micky Vann again. Puts all our refs to shame.
