Tyson vs Holy levels? Lewis vs Rahman? Or bigger?

I see potential in Fury. I don't think he'll be Valuev or anything like that, but even a poor man's version of him would do really well in the current heavyweight climate.

There's a reason the Klitschko's avoided Valuev all those years. If the Fury-Wlad match comes to pass, maybe we'll see why.

The astute and accurate has spoken! ( Sarcasm )

Wlad is a clear betting favorite ranging from 5 to 1 or 6 to 1.

    5 to 1 = $5.00 wagered will get you $1.00 in return.

Fury is a 7 to 2 underdog. $2.00 wagered will get you $7.00 back is Fury wins.

It would be an upset, but how big depends on Wlad's performance, and how he does in the next outing.

I don't think it will rate up there with the likes of Tyson vs Douglas, Holmes vs Spinks, or McCall vs Lewis. Wlad is approaching 40 and Fury is a formidable opponent. At best it will be a marginal surprise. That said I have to favor Wlad. Fury showed some vulnerabilities against the much smaller and older Steve Cunningham as well Derek Chisora. If Wlad boxes smart I can see him outpointing Fury without too much trouble.

It would be a pretty big upset despite wlad's age but it wouldn't be like Douglas/Tyson

I really don´t think Fury can do anything against Wlad, but if he can, I would be very happy. Wlad is the most boring HW I´ve seen since Primo Carnera :)

anybody beating Vlad right now would be an upset. Fury has shown guts and has gotten off the floor to win, however this is a task heads and shoulders over anything he has faced. Thing is Vlad will be giving up size and reach and Fury has shown good stamina.

I am thinking Fury will give it a go but how does he hold up to Vlads rockets. Fury is crazy as a fox and will try to get in Vlads head, either way Vlad is 40 and it showed a little in his last fight....he can get old overnight but im thinking maybe not yet. Also Vlad has done well vs the bigger men he faced Thompson,Wach,McCline but I am thinking Fury brings a good confident attitude and that may be his best asset

Wald is in a different class imo, I'd be shocked if Fury did much at all to be honest. I like Fury but I'm not impressed with him as a fighter really. Its a case of people either thinking Fury is much better than people think and he could pull out the win, or Wald is so much more superior it will be alarming how easily he out classes Tyson. I go with the latter, even at 40 Klit is miles ahead.

It will be an upset, but no one of monolithic proportions. Wlad is getting on and while he is still the best, everybody loses if the stay around too long. He may get old all of a sudden. I doubt it, but you never know...
Fury isn't a bad fighter either...so sure, an upset but not anything to make headlines out of boxing circles or anything.

I agree with this. Wlad is 39 going on 40 by time fight happens and going for his 19th consecutive title defense in his second reign. As good as he has been nothing lasts forever. It would be an upset but not a historic upset. Still money is on Wlad.

Something like a Frazier-Foreman perhaps...an underdog but a very live one. But I still think that Vlad is much better and will kick Tyson's ass pretty hard. Fury is just a more formidable opponent than Vlad's recent ones, but unless he reveals certain powers hitherto unseen, Klitshko will most likely dismantle him by around the 6th.

it would be one of the biggest upset in the history of boxing,

I am putting 1000 bucks on Wlad to knock his over-rated ass out, Fury is just a big dumb lug, 210 lb Steve Cunningham put him on his back..

Wlad will be 40 next March so what?? Foreman was in his mid 40's 20 years ago and still knocking mofos cold:dead, outside of the Sander's and Brewster, and Peter, he hasn't taken much punishment, let's match resume's who's the better fighter huh, NO BRAINER..

Wlad has advantage in power, strength, conditioning, experience, skill and he's more athletic focused..

I guess Fury is bigger, if you wanna count fat, flab, Wlad is much bigger muscle wise ..

    KLITCHKO KO 9..
