    Protected by his trainer/Dad.

Bottle job. Best win is a prime Kessler. The rest mean nothing. Nothing.

Calzaghe was past his prime, with shot hands, yet he still defeated Roy Jones and Hopkins, those two still had enough left in the tank to continue competing years afterwards. Calzaghe on the other hand had nothing left in the tank, he retired. Calzaghe is horribly underrated, because he does not hold an American birth certificate. :fire

Calzaghe did NOT BEAT Bernard Hopkins he got a split decision victory he in no way deserved. Calzaghe retired to his life of sniffing, drinking , chasing ho's & killing innocent little rabbits as soon as Bernard Hopkins offered to go to Wales for a rematch
He knew Bernard would knock him down AGAIN!!! & this time he 'd be KO'd He's a coward:good

"In an article at thisislondon.co.uk, Calzaghe talked about the prospect of facing a prime Roy Jones Jr. Calzaghe said “I could probably give Jones a tough fight, probably the best fight he’s ever had, but I know my capabilities and unless I got paid the crown jewels I wouldn’t want to risk it’’. And that was the problem, Team Calzaghe knew their capabilities and they did not want to risk it"

How many months during those 25 years was Calzaghe recognized as an elite P4P talent?

My guess is there are more than a handful of boxers who were featured on such lists many more months over that same 25 year span than Calzaghe.

Bernard got screwed TWICE against Jermaine Taylor in AMERICA as you say . All 3 were POLITICAL decisions not boxing related. Bernard marched to his own drummer refused to be a yes man . He upset the hiaracchy lol
Anyone that really knows boxing know Bernard really won all 3 fights
