    :D Thanks, mate.

It can get pretty frustrating to read page after page of hostile ignorance.

Chavez really was an exceptional boxer, one of the best in living memory and he had a tremendous career.

You're right about the Rosario fight, it was a great performance. :good

Some say Rosario could be the hardest punching lightweight ever, he's certainly one of them. Not that it deterred Chavez, though, he went after him just the same way he did everyone else.

Mayweather beat a prime Castillo with a torn rotator cuff. Give the man his props!

Oh please, Mayweather have seen better, bigger and faster punchers than Chavez Sr.

Chavez Sr vs Floyd Mayweather Jr is a mismatch.

Well said. The masses on here criticise and degrade many fighters including world class fighters even calling them bums etc

    I agree 100%

If anyone wants to learn an aggressive, defensive, counterpunching style, Chavez is one of the greats.

How the **** is Mayweather gonna "WHUP" him???

    Did he "WHUP" Pacquaio???

Did I watch the same fight as you???

Cuz, I didn't say that ****. I saw a grown man get called a COWARD by his own father.

I didn't see an ass whippin.

I saw a dude run away and avoid a fight, and look more beat up than his opponent, yet somehow get the victory.

He can roll out against a southpaw, but if he was getting caught with a right counter from cave man puncher Maidana, he would certainly catch a few from Chavez, considering his right hand counter was one his best weapons.

Only way Floyd wins is by running and some crooked judging.

If he wants to "whip his ass," he would actually have to fight.

    Mayweather ain't tryin to fight.

Only guy he fights are guys like Gatti who he had to sucker punch to win.

    True story.

Maidana comparison is irrelevant as Floyd is nearing 40 already. Chavez would not be able to touch a prime Floyd. A prime dela Hoya might defeat Floyd but not a typical hunt and destroy mexican style.

Chavez's 89-0 was actually 88-1 still impressive but we just can't magically erase disqualifications.
