Think people are reading too much into the amateurs here, when Joshua was still very green. Whyte has fought no-one as a pro. Nascimento is probably his best win. Joshua hasn't exactly fought a murderers row, but he has been in with better people, and progressed better. Plus, he has big fight experience, he's fought in front of big crowds before. Hope it's a good fight, but I don't see any more devil in Dillian than in Safety Pin Johnson.
Whyte is powerful but I don't see much beyond that. He can be reckless and his discipline isn't fantastic either. I think AJ will get a stoppage within 5 rounds. I hope it's closer though as if he does people will just moan again "well who is Whyte anyway?"
Hopefully AJ can get some Deontay Wilder in him and go 100-0 (99) or something.. It's a close fight.. I still think AJ wins.. but maybe he can register a KD or go the distance or something. Ruffle the feathers..
AJ is far too powerful and big to be in the slightest bit troubled by Whyte. Brutal KO is on the cards, one of those KOs where the first punch KOs but its followed by 2 more on the way down.
The video is on youtube and went to the scorecards after the knockdown. However Joshua looks like a complete novice and even physically looks much weaker than he does today. I can't see the fight going the same way. KO victory for AJ all the way!
