They should have counted as scoring blows lep. As ward says if you don't get a point deduction for it then it's totally legal. So if the refs back is turned and you grab a hammer from your coach at ring side and wack your opponent with it it's perfectly legal and good old school tactics once you don't get a point deduction .
Lewis, using his headbutts to cut his opponent and later on using his hair like a razor and rubbing it on the cut to open it as much as possible. One of the dirtiest strategies I've seen in my life.
