Lol... he should have fought those guys long before he actually did...

    Margarito fought a roided Mosley
Margarito fought an undefeated Cotto Margarito fought a fresher Pacquiao
Margarito didn't duck Williams or any fighter like Mayweather did.

And he is regarded as what by the boxing community ? Just say you hate Money and be done with it. And look at the poll.

I don't hate Mayweather. I use to root for him. I despise the mockery he represents now. Cherry picker, over charging fans, avoiding the real challenges.

For new fans or nuthuggers maybe that is acceptable, but for me and hard core fans who have followed the sport for a long time, we understand boxing to be a sport where the best prove to be the best by who they fight not what comes out of their mouth. Fighters like DLH, Leonard, Duran etc who fought anyone and everyone ... not cry-babies with ridiculous b!tch made demands.

Arum didn't want to make the Oscar fight.. Then he wanted Floyd to sign an extention.. Instead, Floyd bet on himself and won.. You see what he's doing now? Under Top Rank, he wouldn't be half of what he is today.. He got the Oscar fight which defined his career and was launched into supers****ome...

Yes, he followed DLH'S blueprint and became a free agent. Arum is obviously terrible, agreed.

Doesn't change the fact that he carefully selected his opponents and avoided others. Makes him a duck.

Lol... seriously? Oscar moved up to WW and in a span of 3 years for all the champions there which included Quartey, Trinidad, Whitaker, all P4P, Whitaker ranked #3.

Oscar moved up and fight Bernard Hopkins.

Mayweather moved up and fought some scrubs and shot fighters.

Like Mosley was ranked? Like Pac was ranked ? Like Canelo? Don't forget Money gave Oscar everything he wanted too get that fight, now talk about that.

Oscar fought a Mosley much better than the version Floyd fought.
Oscar fought a Pacquiao much better than the version Floyd fought.

    Hopkins/Quartey/Trinidad > Canelo
    DLH's Mosley > Floyd's Mosley
    DLH's Pacquiao > Floyd's Pacquiao

    Mayweather carefully selected his opponents.

Oscar was way past his prime FFS, and the only thing Oscar got was ring of choice. :patsch

That's a whole different argument.. We're on why he didn't fight Margarito not who ducked on that day.. We all know he's ducking someone new every fight...

    :lol::patsch

The fact that a 38 yr old Mosley, 36 yr old Pac, a green and drained Canelo are considered the best available opponents doesn't tell you anything about FLoyd's era:blood
