    LOL

I dare you to start a thread placing Wlad up against Bert Cooper. I can think of about 3-4 posters who will back Sir Bert.

Foreman II would absolutely brutalize Wlad.

Can you imagine George's tree trunk thru a window jab landing clean on Wlads china chin?

Foreman wouldn't even need the right hand to get the stoppage. And imagine Wlad trying to clinch Foreman:rofl

Ive always felt Foreman II blows away Wlad a lot easier than 70's Foreman.

I also see Wlad having hell with prime Jesse Ferguson.

The fast hard hitting and counter punching Ferguson that beat Douglas would be a far greater threat that Byrant Jennings was.

If an ordinary guy like Jennings can make Wlad look average then how does he clear out an good era like the 80's.

Refs back then came down a lot harsher for illegal clinching. It was simply not allowed no matter what.
Wlad main method of defence is pushing down on guys necks and resting his weight all over them.
Without this tactic he has no head movement or any other form of legal defence.
That means he is a lot easier to hit and guys will get to his glass chin.

Don't forget Sanders beat Cooper. Cooper let him win, but Cooper letting you win is a bigger win than most have ever won.

Its like when Hulk Hogan wasn't sure Andre was going to let him win. That big! Imagine Sanders sweating it out in the locker room, unsure if Cooper was going to let him win, and always the possibility, Cooper could accidentally knock you out with a missed punch or something, that's how hard he hit! No guarantees with Cooper, NONE!

I can see how being slower and throwing less punches might help his chances.

    why choose these guys?

I chose a terrible guy in corrie, not someone who legit got a title shot like douglas, McCall and rahman.

not sure I get your comparison.

Maybe you can't read as well as you think you can.

But I said FOUR pillars of Heaven. There are not three, but four. You toast to all four or none at all. And to toast to none at all is to spit in the face of greatness. You spit in the face of greatness, well greatness might just do more than just spit back at you? Can you handle what greatness is going to throw back at you? Maybe you should just toast like a good man.

The 80's heavyweights were talented. They are underrated in terms of talent and skill, however their issue was the crack epidemic that gripped America during the decade. They also had dedication issues blowing up between fights in weight.
Guys with drug issues and weight problems are going into a fight against Wlad at a distinct disadvantage against a man that is a fitness freak. A man that will also possess a size, weight and power advantage over almost all of them.
I don't see any with the exception of prime Tyson really giving Wlad an issue. And I tend to really like Prime Tucker, Tubbs and ****ey. I just think Wlad is too dedicated, too skilled and too modern(super heavy) for the lot.

 what defense? Grab and Clinch? Wlad gets DQ with regulare Ref. beside in Germany. Here he can do what he want.

Wlad is not able to counter, hes only good when he can dictate the pace but when he must go back he can do nothing without to clinch.

Prime Tyson would kill him inside three or four rounds.

wladdie is not getting in the ring with top 80s hws. there was a good reason why he hid in fear from credible challengers with the unwanted, unheard of, wbo title.

Although in true wladdie style he still got multiple destoryed by nobodies, just trying to defend that.

Getting robbed and cheated out of their purses by the" Monarch" didn't help any towards their dedication to training.
