Not even close, Monroe had looked phenomenal against Adams, Kopylenko, Bondrovas and Vera in the year before he fought GGG, Smith looked okay against a shot to s*** AA once.

You want Golovkin to fight someone larger in his NATURAL WEIGHT CLASS?

Or people should just stick to their own weight class, and move up gradually?

Something tells me Dawson needed the fight, which is why he had no choice :think

He had no problem wanting to move up to fight Chavez or Froch. So why unless he is scared to lose will he not move up to fight Ward?

2nd tier fighters and has never fought a 12 rounder in his life. At least Smiths fought for world titles and actually gave AA a run for his money the 1st time around. :nod

And got KO'd every time he stepped up. Smith isn't even as good as his average brothers.

Something tells me you're talking out of your rear.

He thought he could crush Ward at 68, but it backfired on him and he was completely outclassed.

    That's it. :nod

He did get ko'd twice but Willie has never even come close to beating anyone elite or even faced anyone elite.

    Never fought a 12 rounder.

Did you not listen to Golovkin's reasoning? Listen to his reasoning, he explains it. Ward does not draw a crowd, Froch and Chavez will draw a huge crowd and bring in more money, so he can concede the weight disadvantage since it is going to be a big money fight. High reward with a high risk, with Ward it is a high risk with a low reward :deal

Cannot draw a crowd, yet makes more than him. 323k viewers on BET, still makes more than GGG doing 1.2 million viewers was it?

    WOW! :nut

He did similar #'s on HBO. :patsch

You are so obsessed with "how much" someone makes and automatically saying that has to do with star power. Sometimes yes, sometimes no... It also has to do with the opponent. Many factors infact.

Ward couldn't even do 350k viewers on freaking BET... While GGG did over a million more on a pay channel.

Ward with "probably go back up in 1-2 fights"... You mean if he actually decides to fight more than once every year and a half and actually picks a decent opponent and stops with demand after demand?
